Loan Originator Compensation Webinar

Updated 09/17/2015

Compliance Alliance's Loan Originator Compensation training webinar is a comprehensive training on the rules and limitations on compensating individual loan originators. The training webinar begins with a broad overview of the loan originator compensation rules including the scope of the rule, the definition of a loan originator, and general limits on compensation. After the introduction and overview, the training narrows its focus on two specific topics: paying bonuses based on the profits of the company, and paying employees a referral fee. The bonus section will focus on identifying bonus plans that may violate the rule, addressing common issues with bonus plans, and providing examples of permissible incentive plans. The referral section of the webinar will primarily focus on what a non-LO employee may or may not do in order to receive a referral bonus. The audience for the webinar includes Compliance Alliance member banks. Expected attendees include compliance officers, loan officers, and senior management. The presentation is expected to last 60 minutes.
